Hugh Jackman faces big question about 'Avengers: Doomsday'

Several X-Men characters have been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday. Except for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds's Deadpool.

So, the Australian actor who appeared in The View was asked about his rumoured appearance in the upcoming superhero film.

To this, the 56-year-old seemed to have responded in an evasive manner. “I really can’t say much. Except, when you say ‘appear,’ it's more like dominate and destroy every other [character]. I’m kidding,” he quipped.

But The Prestige star added, “No, I really have nothing to add. And if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add. So that was uncool. But thanks for asking!”

Hugh has a long career in the X-Men franchise. He played the Wolverine character in 10 films since 2000's X-Men.

In the meantime, work on Avengers: Doomsday is ongoing as several actors, who have been appearing in the film, have shared updates on their social media.

Avengers: Doomsday will be out on May 1, 2026.
