Cheyenne Kimball broke her silence after suddenly disappearing from the spotlight.

In a recent chat with Weekly US the singer, who left her career unannounced, announced her sudden comeback while sharing what really happened during her one-and-a-half-decade hiatus.

“I struggled a lot just trying to find myself,” she told the outlet recalling her impromptu exit from Gloriana in 2011.

The Hanging On singer went on to say, “It wasn’t even about the fact that I’d already had prior success or anything. I thought I would have something to relate to, but I didn’t feel like I had anyone to relate to. I felt very lonely sometimes.”

“I don’t think a lot of people realized how young I was,” she continued. “I didn’t realize how young I was. By the time I was 21, I had just gotten to a point where I needed a break. That’s why I disappeared for a while.”

Kimball, who rose to fame at the age of 12 following her win on the NBC show America’s Most Talented Kid, admitted that she "didn’t really have those normal experiences of finding" herself.

Now, after more than a decade of healing and working on herself, the "One Original Singer" hitmaker is all set to make an epic comeback.

“For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m solid,” she added. “I’m ready to go, and I have so much to say.”
