Pedro Pascal's sister reveals her objections to 'The Last of Us'

Pedro Pascal's sister, Lux Pascal, has just now got honest about her brother’s choice in selecting projects.

Pascal starred as the father, Joel, of Bella Ramsey’s character in The Last of Us.

In the second episode of the recent season, a woman named Abby killed Joel to avenge her father’s murder.

At the 2025 Platino awards, Lux candidly discussed with Remezcla her experience of watching her brother die in the series.

"I have to say that being Pedro Pascal's sister, I knew how that episode would end,” she noted. “I knew what was going to happen. But even so, I saw it and I wanted to throw the iPad."

Referring to his previous movies, Games of Thrones and Equalizer 2, in which his character was killed, Lux continued, "It's not the first time he's done it to me."

"It's not the second time he's done it to me. I think it's the fourth time he's done it to me. Because how many deaths has he had?"

"Game of Thrones, Equalizer 2, The Last of Us - each is more violent than the other... seeing my brother die that way, I didn't like it at all," she added before signing off.

The final episode of The Last of Us is set to release on May 25, 2025.
