Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer, who shares close bond with Prince Harry, has made a big announcement after the duke dealt a major blow in UK.

Charles Spencer, in a joint post with Althorp Literary Festival, said the festival will be back in 2026.

He announced, “After such lovely, positive, feedback about this year’s Althorp Literary Festival - following a six year absence - we’re delighted to announce that the Althorp Literary Festival will be back in 2026 – from 8th to 10th May.”

Prince William and Harry’s uncle went on saying, “We’ve already booked the first fabulous authors for next year’s line-up, but do please let us know of any author suggestions - who would you like to see at the 2026 Althorp Literary Festival…?”

Commenting on it, one fan said, “Very exciting!”

Another said, “This year was my first time attending the festival, and it was fantastic. I came all the way from Canada and hope to return each year!”

Charles Spencer announcement came a day after the Daily Express shared a poll results where Prince Harry has been dealt a major blow as King Charles has been urged to not send him an invite to Balmoral this summer.

Spending time at the Balmoral estate has been an annual tradition for the royal family for many years - and is something that the late Queen Elizabeth II also previously upheld.

The report further says, in the poll royal fans were asked whether an invitation should be extended to Prince Harry this year after the duke and duchess left upset on previous occasions.

In support of King Charles, 866 of the 920 people who voted said that the monarch should snub Harry once again.
