James Norton, Charlotte Rose Smith's relationship shocking update revealed

James Norton is reportedly single again after splitting from his girlfriend, model and artist Charlotte Rose Smith. 

The Happy Valley star had been dating the 26-year-old since late 2024, but the pair are said to have quietly parted ways.

According to Daily Mail, Norton has been spotted on the elite celebrity dating app Raya, sparking speculation about his relationship status. 

The profile linked to him is said to show a new look, a shaved head, for his upcoming role in Sunny Dancer, currently being filmed in Scotland alongside The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey.

While Norton moves on, Smith has taken to TikTok with cryptic posts about heartbreak and healing through art, as per the outlet. 

In one recent post, she wrote, "Broken heart? Still got my art," sharing footage from her London studio.

Norton, a long-rumored contender for the next James Bond, appears to be focusing on family and work in the wake of the reported breakup.

While speaking on the Travel Secrets podcast, he revealed plans to visit Kenya with his parents and young nephews: “It’s with my family, which is really lovely… We have a really nice little family unit.”

This marks Norton’s second high-profile split in recent years. He was previously engaged to actress Imogen Poots, with whom he ended a seven-year relationship in 2023. 

Furthermore, while reflecting on that breakup, Norton admitted his intense stage work had impacted his personal life, saying, “If the work starts to compromise one's relationships, it can become unhealthy," as per the publication.
