Lily Collins spotted filming romantic scene for 'Emily In Paris': Source

The filming for Emily In Paris Season 5 officially kicked off in Rome earlier this month, with leading star Lily Collins and her on-screen love interest, Eugenio Franceschini.

The pair were photographed hand-in-hand as they strolled through Rome’s picturesque Aventine neighborhood, eventually stopping at the city’s iconic ‘keyhole.'

Collins, who plays marketing executive Emily Cooper, looked chic in a blue-and-white polka dot co-ord featuring a short-sleeve button-up shirt and ruffled Capri pants, as per Daily Mail.

She completed her look with blue bow heels and a pearl-embellished crochet bag. 

Meanwhile, Franceschini, portraying her new flame Marcello, opted for a laid-back ensemble with a green short-sleeve shirt, rust-colored trousers, and brown leather boots.

Season 5 will follow Emily as she navigates her career and love life between Paris and Rome, after being offered a leadership role at the Italian branch of Agence Grateau and exploring a budding relationship with Marcello. 

This shift came after her complicated breakup with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and a fake pregnancy scandal involving Camille (Camille Razat), as per the publication. 

In a dramatic update, Razat announced she will not return for the upcoming season, marking the end of her character’s arc. 

In an emotional Instagram post, she thanked the cast, crew, and fans, expressing gratitude for the opportunity and revealing plans to focus on her production company and other acting projects.

Despite the changes, creator Darren Star confirmed that Paris remains central to the story, stating, “Emily didn’t change her Instagram handle to Emily in Rome. We’re not leaving Paris," as per the outlet's claims. 

The new season is expected to stream on Netflix later this year.
