An expert has just bashed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the way they revised their Montecito structure, given how similar it is to the Royal Family’s approach.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Daily Mail was the expert in question, and he was the first to point out the ‘hypocrisy’ in this all.
He referenced this hierarchical structure being led by a veteran communications strategist named Meredith Kendall Maines, rather candidly.
For those unversed with the restructuring, it includes 11 senior staffers who earn six-figures and according to International Business Times, Method Communications are supporting the Sussex’s during this time.
According to the expert, “the hypocrisy lies in the act that Harry has, especially in his most recent interview, attacked courtiers and the Royal Household, considering them enemies.”
It is because of this that it seems “extremely surprising that he should want a similar structure in Montecito.”
A similar comment has been made by royal author Tom Bower and he believes that this move shows that “undoubtedly, the Sussexes would like to rule over a 'royal court' from their Montecito mansion.”
And seemingly “nothing would give them greater pleasure than courtiers pulling their forelocks as they bow and scrape to please the Duke and Duchess,” he also said.
So “what the Sussexes have assembled is not a 'royal court'. Rather, it's a hugely expensive group of bureaucrats signaling the Sussexes' final, desperate bid to save their brand,” Mr Bower concluded by saying.
