Billy Joel's wife Alexis finally opens up about his health journey

Alexis Roderick Joel, wife of Billy Joel, recently got candid and opened up about his brain disorder diagnosis.

For the unversed, the 76-year-old American singer-songwriter and pianist took to his Instagram on Friday, May 23, and announced the news of his normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) diagnosis and cancelled all his scheduled concerts due to his health condition.

Now taking to her husband’s Instagram account, Alexis updated Billy’s fans about his health condition and recovery.

She posted a photograph of herself with the Grammy-winning musician and their daughters, 9-year-old Della and 7-year-old Remy.

Alexis also began a caption by showing gratitude to Billy’s fans for their “love and support,” she wrote, "Thank you for the outpouring of love and support. We are so grateful for the wonderful care and swift diagnosis we received."

She added, "Bill is beloved by so many, and to us, he is a father and husband who is at the center of our world."

"We are hopeful for his recovery. We look forward to seeing you all in the future,” Alexa concluded.
