Sarah Jessica Parker reflects on SATC's Carrie Bradshaw, Mr Big relationship

Sarah Jessica Parker has opened up about the pivotal plot of And Just Like That.

The Hollywood actress achieved widespread fame for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.

While promoting the third season of And Just Like That, a reboot of 1998 romantic comedy series, she candidly talked about Carrie Bradshaw’s relationship with Mr Big, played by Chris Noth, with E! News.

"It was romantic, and it was a disaster. It was destructive, and it was healthy,” the Failure to Launch actress began.

Referring to the death of her on-screen husband in the first episode, she continued, “Big dying was really, really hard to do both professionally and personally. That's not just a thread. It's one of the main arteries that you would struggle to do without."

"It was really sad to say goodbye to that. It's not like I needed it for my own health or wellbeing, but that was a hugely wonderful story to tell for a lot of years,” the 60-year-old actress added.

In the reboot series, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon returned to reprise their roles except Kim Cattrall, who cited the reason for not joining the cast as “lack of enjoyment in her role.”

Before concluding, Parker shared, "Life is a story we get to write every day, and when the plot twists, we can choose to embrace a new chapter."
