Jackie Chan provides update on ‘script' for ‘Rush Hour 4'

Jackie Chan just revealed that Rush Hour 4’s “script is still going on.”

The 71-year-old iconic actor, who starred as Detective Inspector Yan Naing Lee in the audience favourite comedic action trilogy, is set to return for a fourth installment.

Chan was asked by Screen Rant if Rush Hour 4 was still under works or not to which he replied, “Yes! And I want to do [another] Shanghai Knights, Shanghai Dawn. Shanghai Noon, Shanghai Knights, and Shanghai Dawn.

“The script is still going on. I want to do a Rush Hour 4,” he added.

Despite his positive outlook on the Rush Hour movie, the Karate Kid star admitted he was not sure how far the film has been developed.

“I don't know. Ask the director, ask the studio, ask the writer. Hurry up! Otherwise, Chris Tucker and me [will be] 100 years old. We'll be old men doing Rush Hour,” Chan admitted.

For the unversed, Rush Hour is a film revolving around the story of disciplined inspector from Hong Kong and a rather impulsive LAPD detective who have to work together, putting their cultural and methodological differences aside, after a young girl in Los Angeles is kidnapped.
