UK prosecutors have confirmed a total of 21 charges against influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate.

The famous British-American brother duo, who are already under investigation in Romania, will face charges such as rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking once they return to the UK.

The Crown Prosecution Service said that it had authorised the charges against the brothers in 2024 before an extradition warrant was issued to bring them back from Romania.

The CPS added that "the domestic criminal matters in Romania must be settled first."

The recent charges come after CPS received a file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police about allegations made in the UK.

Andrew, 38, alone faces 10 charges connected to three alleged victims, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain.

Meanwhile, Tate, 36, has been hit with 11 charges connected to one alleged victim, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.

The pair were both born in the US but moved to Luton in the UK with their mother after their parents divorced.

The Tate brothers were first arrested in Romania in December 2022, following rape and human trafficking accusations against former kickboxer Andrew and human trafficking suspicions against Tristan. Both influencers denied the charges.
