After well-placed insiders hypothesized what Meghan Markle without Prince Harry would look like, Newsweek’s Chief Royal Correspondent Jack Royston sat down with The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show to deliver his own two cents on the potential chaos.
“Imagine if Meghan left Harry, it would destroy her reputation,” he began by saying.
“She would be eviscerated publicly because she's already slipped into this kind of category on social media, the way that pop culture commentators talk about her.”
For those unversed, previous sources admitted to The Sun that they would be “stunned” if that ever happened because despite them having apparently different goals.
In the eyes of Mr Royston it would be worse for Meghan who already suffers whenever the media “lump her in with these other famous women who are perceived as being narcissistic or being controlling of their husbands.” One being Alec Baldwin's wife as well as Blake Lively.
Hence, “if she walked out on Harry, she would never reputationally survive it,” he alleged in his concluding remark.
It is pertinent to mention though that the conversation didn’t end at this point because he also conversed with Ms Ingrid Seward, the Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine about their dependency on each other, especially in light of their children because America favors the mother when it comes to custody.
