Jenna Fischer, who got famed for her role as Pam Beeslyin The Office, has opened the reason for re-watching the series.
While appearing on Fly on the Wall podcast, she candidly shared her honest comments about the series.
The 51-year-old actress starred in the mockumentary series alongside Carell, Rainn Wilson and John Krasinsk.
“My biggest takeaway from having rewatched it was that it’s really good the whole time,” the Mean Girls actress lauded.
“I think there was this lore, especially among the cast and the creatives, that maybe we hit our peak in Season 3 or Season 4,” Fischer continued.
Spanning from 2005 to 2013, the series had a total of 201 episodes across its nine seasons.
Recalling when Carell exited the series in season 7, the Hollywood actress noted, “Also this belief that the two seasons after Steve left, we were just treading water and maybe they weren’t as good.”
Before concluding, Jenna Fischer praised the script of the series and said, “When I watched everything, some of my favorite episodes were in seasons 8 and 9 after Steve had left. There were still these amazing storylines.”
For those unversed, the series revolves around a fictional paper supply company’s employees’ daily lives and their quirky personalities. It uses the mockumentary style, for presenting the event through the eye of the camera and with observational humor.
