Tom Cruise turns to ex Nicole Kidman again for closure?

Tom Cruise has reportedly reached out to his ex-wife Nicole Kidman under surprising circumstances.

Per Radar Online, the Mission Impossible star has contacted his ex-wife after 20 years of no contact amid the growing speculations that he is gearing up to propose to his girlfriend Ana de Armas.

The source claims that Cruise wants to heal old wounds with Kidman and asked for her blessings before taking any step with his new girlfriend.

For the unversed, the 57-year-old Australian-American actress and film producer and the Top Gun star tied the knot in 1990 but annulled their marriage in 2001.

Notably, the couple adopted two children, Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30, who lived with Cruise and were raised in the Church of Scientology after the high-profile couple’s divorce.

The insider shared, “As always, Tom's odd moves are tied back to his obsession with Scientology. That cult is big on soothing things in the past before moving forward, and Tom sees getting Nicole's blessing for his new bride-to-be as fitting in with that.”

“She's unlikely to be amused, as Nic hated Scientology,” the source noted.

In addition, another source revealed that “Tom has shocked everyone in his circle by saying he wants to reconnect with Nicole.”

“He's mellowed out massively and realises now is the time to finally clear the air. He's even planning for Bella and Connor to be there too – it's what they've wanted for years,” the insider stated.
