Desperate Housewives star, Felicity Huffman, showed support to Kerry Washington’s upcoming reboot of the iconic ABC series.

In a recent chat on Good Morning America, the 62-year-old actress, who portrayed the character of Lynette Scavo on Desperate Housewives, expressed her support for the project.

"Isn't that great? They're gonna do Wisteria Lane with women of color, and I am all for it," Huffman approved.

"I am gonna do craft service for it," Huffman said jokingly, adding, "But I just think it's wonderful, and I'm a huge fan of Kerry's."

Huffman was asked which star she wanted to see play her character in the new series, she noted, "Oh my god, I have no idea. I think a lot of people could do it better than I did, so I can't wait to see it."

It is pertinent to mention that an offshoot of the new series of Desperate Housewives began last month and will be titled Wisteria Lane as a nod to the road where the original series was filmed.
