Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly aware about whatever is going on inside the palace.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still left out of the details.

An insider has told People Magazine that amid royal rift and King Charles' ongoing cancer battle, Harry and Meghan "are aware of everything going on in England."

"But they're left out of the details - there's clearly no trust," they added. "It's been difficult for him to even get proper updates about his dad."

Notably, the source also added that while Meghan is focused on the future, her husband Harry seems to be still stuck in his royal past. They stated that the Duchess of Sussex is "very business about it."

It is worth mentioning that this comes after Prince Harry made shocking claims in his BBC interview. The youngest son of King Charles and late Princess Diana expressed his wish to reconcile with his family.

He also stated, "I don't know how much longer my father has," adding that King Chalres "won't speak to me."

As per the royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith the main issue is trust. Sally said, "The King and William don't trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation."

In fact, Harry's BBC interview has also been seen as an attack towards the royals. Valentine Low said, "It wasn't meant to be an attack, but it would be seen as one. It makes Charles reaching out even harder."

"There is not a good angel in his ear to say, 'Be a good dad and make the first move,'" Valentine adds of King Charles.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal roles in 2020. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since been living in California with their children: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
