Ed Sheeran just brought his +–=÷× (Tour Collection) to the top in the UK for its second non-consecutive week.
The 2024 hits collection, which spans hits and live recordings of tracks from six of his previous chart-topping albums: 2011’s +, 2024’s X, 2017 release ÷, 2019’s No.6 Collaborations Project, 2021 album = and 2023’s -, became Ed’s eighth Number 1 LP in January 2025, as per Official Charts.
This achievement comes after the Perfect singer released her latest track, Sapphire, off his upcoming eighth studio album, Play, which is slated for a September 12 launch.
Additionally, as Ed enjoys the top spot, Sabrina Carpenter, who is getting ready to headline Barcelona’s Primavera Sound festival, holds her spot in the top 5 with her album Short N’ Sweet enjoying its 41st week on the chart.
Miley Cyrus, who released her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful secured this week’s highest entry by the grace of the aforementioned project.
Something Beautiful joins six other LPs by the Grammy award winning singer, including chart-toppers Bangerz (2013) and Endless Summer Vacation (2023).
And of course, ever since pop sensation, Taylor Swift addressed speculations about Reputation (Taylor’s Version), her 2017 chart-topping album has come back to the top 10 for the first time in eight years.
