The royal family on Saturday said that King Charles and Duchess of Edinburgh attended the Royal Windsor Flower Show.
A statement issued on the family's Instagram account said, "The King, as Patron, and The Duchess of Edinburgh were at the Royal Windsor Flower Show this morning."
It said, "The theme for this year’s show, held at Windsor Great Park, is ‘Patterns in Nature’ inspired by His Majesty’s book ‘Harmony: A New Way Of Looking At Our World’."
The statement read, "The Duchess was joined by gardener Alan Titchmarsh, who is Honorary President of The Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society, to officially open the Show."
Local media reported that Duchess Sophie, the wife of Prince Edward, stood in for the monarch and opened the show, before King Charles arrived.
Duchess Sophie and King Charles appeared together at the event just a day after the monarch's sister-in-law joined Prince William for an appearance at the Royal Cornwall Show 2025.
The royal family said "The Duke of Cornwall (William), as Patron of The Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, and The Duchess of Edinburgh (Sophie), as Patron of The Association of Agricultural Association attended The Royal Cornwall show in Wadebridge."
It said, "The show celebrates and highlights the best in Cornish heritage and tradition through agriculture, food and drink, entertainment and competition."
