Chrissy Teigen, once outspoken about her journey with sobriety, reflected with a laugh on a wild night just three months into being sober in early 2021.
For the unversed, in 2025 at the Golden Globes, the 39-year-old American model was seen drinking champagne and became a meme for her “cry face” while her husband, John Legend, sang Glory from the movie Selma.
However, six years ago, in 2021, Teigen was sober and reminisced about that night, calling it a “legendary moment” but also said about her “drunk dumba****” self, "May she forever live in the past, lol."
Notably, on May 15 this year, the mother of four, who had been sober for four years, shared she had a relapse.
Teigen said, "To have to admit to all of you that I let [alcohol] back into my life… to let a lot of you down, oh I feel it deeply. The truth is, I don’t know what I'm doing."
Referring to big nights, she quipped, "I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine.”
“Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show. And then I felt bad for making kind of an a**** of myself to people that I really respected.”
"Holly Whitaker changed my life, changed my perspective and changed how I view the f**** beast that is alcohol," Teigen said.
"I one hundred percent know I like me better sober. I one hundred percent know I get more done, I absolutely feel better in my body without it,” the Extra star admitted.
