Meghan Markles Suits co-star speaks out on LA crisis as Duchess remains silent

After several hundred protesters flew Mexican and Central American flags outside a detention center during the ongoing protests over Trump administration crackdown against immigrants in Los Angeles, actor Patrick J. Adams shared an important message for those planning to attend the demonstrations.

Using his Instagram stories, the "Suits" star shared a video of a journalist urging people to put away foreign flags and suggesting optics could be used against the protesters.

"If you are planning on attending a protest against the ICE ( Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids you need to be flying an American flag and an American flag only. Put away the Mexican flags, put the Palestinian flags away for right now and only fly an American flag. The optics here are incredibly important," says the unnamed journalist in the clip shared by Patrick to his Instagram stories.

Adams, who shared the screen with Meghan Markle in hit TV series "Suits", has been using his social media accounts to criticize the US authorities over the crisis which the government's clampdown has created during the last couple of days.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry have refrained from commenting on the situation.

Harry himself has drawn criticism from rightwing  activists over his immigration application, with a think tank approaching the court to provide details of his visa application to verify whether he lied about his previous drug use on his visa request.
