Action hero Brad Pitt has just gotten honest about his love of Formula 1 driving ahead of his upcoming F1 movie release.

For those unversed, the 61-year-old’s film is slated to release on June 27th in the US and has been directed by Joseph Kosinski

According to IMDb, F1: The Movie the story line revolves around the story of a Formula One driver that “comes out of retirement to mentor and team up with a younger driver.”

And with only a few days left till it hits theaters the veteran actor turned up at a fan event in Mexico City and spoke to Extra about his experience.

He began by saying, “No, the speed becomes relative,” when asked about the fear that comes from such fast driving. “It’s more of, like, trusting the brakes. That gets your attention a little more.”

Pitt also admitted that throughout the course of filming he worked whenever he had extra time, on his driving skills and admitted, “I wish we could reshoot the whole thing over again,” because “I’m that good.”

“Doing this this long and to find something that was almost like starting over, it was so full of passion and it gave me a feeling like I’ve never had before. It was just sublime. I’m pretty grateful for [director] Joe Kosinski for coming up with this,” he also added.

The movie also included scenes where Pitt drive in the actual F1 grands prix with modified Formula 2 cars on the F1 race track.

“We had been, like, rehearsing [at Silverstone in England] for a few weeks, so it kind of felt like it was home,” Brad explained. “But then when the whole race movement comes in it’s such a juggernaut of a machine.”

Near the end he even gushed and said, “it is really awe-inspiring, and then to get on the track with 100,000 fans, I was a little bit nervous.”
