The plans Princess Anne has for her birthday have finally come to light, and the delivery has been made by none other than her private secretary.
Colonel John Boyd is the secretary in question and he made the public announcement during a 200-guest event hosted by the princess. It featured representatives from her 111 royal patronages.
According to him “as you are aware, the Princess has given decades of time and support to more than 400 charities and patronages.”
Thus, “it probably won't come as a surprise, given HRH's commitment to you all, that the way the Princess wants to celebrate this milestone is to replicate what she's done on previous significant birthdays and hold this charities forum.”
According to Colonel Boyd, Princess Anne wants “to once again understand how she can help you, at a time when the third sector is facing unprecedented challenges and transformations.”
However GB News suggest her son-in-law Mike Tindall is planning something at a party barn at the Gatcombe Park estate.
For those unversed, Princess Anne will mark her 75th, on August 15th, 2025.
At the event the royal kept focus on the charities she patrons tough, and said, “i'm not here because this was my choice. You very kindly asked me to become patron of your organisations, so it's an honour for me to have all of you here.”
“The responsibility and respect that you give to your own organisations and the people who work for you and your beneficiaries is perhaps the key to what makes you so important.”
