Prince William has made a big move for the future.
The Prince of Wales launched a new vision for Dartmoor on Thursday.
Taking to Instagram, the official handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a carousel of pictures of William alongside a major announcement.
The announcement in the caption read, “Launching a new vision for Dartmoor with the people who live, work and care deeply about this place.”
“The Duchy of Cornwall, the Central Dartmoor Landscape Recovery Project and many local voices are setting out plans for a fresh approach to look after the land,” it continued. “From how it’s farmed and grazed, to how nature is restored and climate pressures faced.”
It concluded, “Dartmoor’s future depends on getting this right. For wildlife, local communities and the generations still to come.”
For those unaware, the Duchy of Cornwall is a private estate which funds the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cornwall’s activities. William inherited the Duchy of Cornwall when his father Charles became King.
This move by Prince William comes after he represented his father King Charles in an important ceremony on Wednesday.
William represented King Charles as he led an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, honouring actress Anne-Marie Duff, Chanel CEO Leena Nair, Everton F.C . soccer club manager David Hoyes and others.
