For too long, fans have hoped for Pitch Perfect 4. But it’s unclear when it will get a nod to go in the works.
Similarly, franchise stars Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp asked the same question in their latest interview.
“I mean, look, I think there's one or two people that are the people who pull the trigger on it, which is not us,” the actress, who played Fat Army, told CBR.
Taking her argument further, Anna said, "Not us, unfortunately, because we would have already shot it.”
To this, Rebel responded, "Yeah, if it were up to us, we would have been like, 'Hell, yeah.' We would have had 12 movies, like Fast and Furious. Yeah, so, but I don't know. I feel very positive that there could be."
The Pitch Perfect trilogy carved its space in the 2010s pop culture. It earned $587 million globally.
However, the third installment did not achieve the success of the previous three films, but it was a hit among most critics.
