King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by the other members of the royal family for a major celebration on Monday.
The royal family is set for the annual Garter Day celebration at Windsor Castle.
The official handle of the royal family took to Instagram and announced the details of the event.
Sharing throwback photos from the past ceremonies, the palace announced, "Later today, Members of the Royal Family will take part in the annual Garter Day procession."
"This event is one of the most traditional ceremonies in the Royal calendar. The King and the Knights process in grand velvet robes, glistening insignia and plumed hats within the grounds of Windsor Castle," the palace continued.
The statement further revealed, "The Order of Garter was created nearly 700 years ago, in medieval times, by King Edward III. King Edward was so inspired by tales of King Arthur and the chivalry of the Knights of the Round Table that he set up his own group of honourable knights (The Order of the Garter!)"
It is worth mentioning that King Charles is the Sovereign of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, which means that the monarch will himself appoint members.
