A major update about Kate Middleton’s cancer has just been dropped right alongside the real reason she was not in attendance at Royal Ascot this year.
For those unversed, the princess was initially planning to attend the event but had to reconsider due to her feeling ‘under the weather’.
It is pertinent to mention that just this Saturday the princess attended the Trooping of the Color as well as the Order of the Garter service.
According to a well placed insider, “Catherine knows she should not overdo things.”
And “she is grateful that her recovery has gone well, but things have not been plain sailing.”
According to GB News, “she had a busy day at Trooping the Colour at the weekend and, if she’s feeling slightly under the weather, it’s better that she takes it easy.”
It is also pertinent to note that a source also reached out to the Daily Mail prior to Ascot and notified them of Kate’s absence but “unfortunately, an inaccurate version of the carriage list was issued in error after that notification.”
Only later was “the correct list was then circulated.”
They also added that due to Kate’s absence a change was made to bump a close friend of the King from the first carriage, Lord Soames, to accommodate Prince William.
Kate is also said to have been quite “disappointed” over this decision but insiders added she needed to “find the right balance” with her schedule of public appearances.
