It appears the next school Prince George will attend has finally been decided upon by his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton.

This agreement means that the future King of England will be having his education within the halls of Eton College.

This decision will mark a major change for the prince, as he is expected to start in this school as of September 2026.

The source that revealed this news is well-placed within royal circles and claims that “all roads lead to Eton” at the moment, and has come after an extensive search conducted by both Prince William and Kate.

For those unversed, the royal is currently at Lambrook School in Berkshire right alongside Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

There were a number of contenders for Prince George’s schooling choice, one of them being Marlborough College.

According to GB News a big reason for the choice relates to the proximity Eton shares with the family’s Windsor Castle lodgings.

They also said, “it was like, 'I know something and the people at Eton know something, but I'm not going to tell you'. That was after William and Kate visited Eton.”

It is also pertinent to mention that the average cost of schooling in this institution costs parents upwards of £63,000.
