Jennifer Aniston reportedly was in love with Daniel McDonald before falling for Brad Pitt.

As fans will be aware, the ex-wife of Brad Pitt was enamoured with the struggling actor Daniel McDonald before she found fame with her role as Rachel Green in Friends.

According to the latest findings of RadarOnline.com, Jennifer’s ex Daniel, who was reportedly nine years older than, was the one that got away.

Sharing why she felt a deep connection with Jennifer, a source told the outlet, "Jen was born in Los Angeles and raised in New York City, but her parents were strict."

They mentioned of the younger Jennifer, "And when she moved back to L.A. and met an older man, he was protective and she felt safe."

However, the source addressed that due to their different career aspirations, the couple had to part ways.

"Jen and Dan dated for almost five years before she landed the role of Rachel Green on Friends. And while Dan was happy for her success, they'd talked about moving back to New York – something Dan wanted because his goal was to perform on Broadway," they continued.

The spy also added, "He considered himself more of a New York theater guy, and he and Jen had pretty much made a pact to go back. She knew Friends was the chance of a lifetime and she had to stay, while Dan pursued his dream on Broadway."
