Prince William is reportedly planning big changes for the Royal family when he becomes king.
According to new report, the Prince of Wales wants to modernise how things work and make the monarchy simpler and more in touch with today’s world.
A report by GB News has revealed that William has been quietly thinking about how to move the institution forward while helping his wife Kate Middleton and father King Charles through their health battles.
Sources close to the future King revealed that he hopes to review the way Buckingham Palace is run and update old systems that haven’t changed in many years.
"When the moment comes, he'll want to do it his way: genuinely, not just following a script," a pal of William told The Times.
William is expected to look closely at the details, ask tough questions, and make sure everything is working properly.
They added that the father-of-three aims to ensure the institution is "fit for purpose in the modern era" while also maintaining its relevance.
He plans to "take every stone and look underneath it,” they said, adding, "He's not afraid to dig into the details, ask the tough questions, and figure out what actually works today.”
William is also aware of how much the monarchy costs the public and wants to make sure it’s worth it, the report added.
