The dangers, potential consequences and public image Prince Harry’s invitation for the Invictus Games has just been laid bare.

A royal commentator has just ran through the possible issues a invitation by Prince Harry could pose for the Firm.

The expert in question is royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, and he shared his thoughts on everything, in a Express UK piece.

According to the expert, “‘reconciliation’ sounds so simple as everyone obviously supports it. However, it might involve extremely serious problems for the Royal Family, who rightly do not trust the Sussexes.”

Because “if the King accepted it, this would involve public contact with Harry and almost certainly Meghan and his grandchildren, Archie and Lili.” And “From what we know now, it would seem certain that William and Catherine would not attend.”

Still it’s understood that the photo opportunity would be ‘immeasurable’, as it would make them the ‘center of attention’ at every high-profile event like the Trooping The Colour, or Royal Ascot, or even the garden parties.

However, while it may be impossible in “normal circumstances,” Mr Fitzwilliams admitted that the last five years have proven to be incredibly difficult for the Firm. So in light of the illnesses that ran through the Firm, and the public issues its members faced, like Prince Andrew or Prince Harry, it might come to pass.

Still in order to do so “would have to be with the agreement of William and that is hard to imagine,” because royal fans, critics and experts would not take kindly to this the expert’s piece added.

“There would be another consequence. The polls consistently show that the Sussexes have become toxic in Britain,” the commentator even pointed out.

Plus, “if we saw them attending royal events, it would enrage many ardent monarchists,” possibly even ‘horrify’ given the Sussexes’ ‘betrayal’ of the Royal Family.

Hence, in his concluding word Mr Fitzwilliams added that even “the invitation to attend Invictus represents a direct challenge to King Charles.”

For those unversed, the next Invictus Games, in 2027, is to be held in Britain and Prince Harry being its founder has reportedly issued invitations via email for the King to attend.

As of right now, official conformation is still being awaited.
