Prince William has received praise for building an amazing legacy for his children.
The Prince of Wales, father of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, was praised by Earthshot Prize Ambassador Robert Irwin for his passionate leadership in environmental conservation.
Speaking at the Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg’s Leading with Impact event in London, Robert said, “Prince William is certainly creating an amazing legacy for his kids and for, you know, an entire generation to take inspiration from. And I have no doubt that they'll, you know, carry on that mission. And it is wonderful.”
He went on to add, “I was born and raised and grew up in a family business and a family environment, you know, creating this amazing empire of conservation and a positivity.”
“And there is such a symmetry in that Prince William, the environment that he grew up in, how he travelled so much from such a young age and got to see wildlife around the world, and I'm sure that's really inspired him,” the son of Steve Irwin stated.
He also added about his experience working with Prince William, saying, “It's a really, really special thing to be able to take all the experiences that you have in your life and inspire the next generation. That is what life's about. And he's doing a fantastic job at that.”
The Earthshot Prize, a £50 million, 10-year program founded by the Prince of Wales, continues to evolve with Robert Irwin stating that the future King is still adding more tools by embracing new methods to drive urgent change.
