Charli XCX gears to perform at Glastonbury

Charli XCX has come a long way since her last Glastonbury 2024 performance.

Marking her return to the iconic music fest a year later, with the launch and wild success of her album, brat, she ready to take Glastonbury’s Other Stage in 2025.

Her culture-defining album, which infuses the genres of electronic and pop music, was nominated for the Mercury Prize last year and also won the album of the year at the Brit Awards in March.

In recent months, Charli XCX has been performing her brat album songs all over the globe, performing at multiple festivals including Coachella in California, Primavera Sound in Barcelona and a headline slot at Lido Festival in London and even went on her brat tour.

At her 2024 Glastonbury appearance, the now-32-year-old played her Partygirl set but this time the singer might just have much bigger plans for her fans after she picked up a string of accolades for brat and also started the “brat summer” cultural movement on social media, amongst which the most viral remains the recreation of the Apple dance.

From Joe Jonas and Cara Delevingne to Stephen Colbert and Brooke Shields, multiple Hollywood celebrities joined in on the viral trend.

This led Charli XCX to introduce the tradition into her brat tour as well where the Speed Drive singer directs the spotlight to a fan or famous friend to perform the Apple dance at her shows, the question which remains is will she carry on the trend at Glastonbury 2025.
