Prince Andrew’s former wife Sarah Ferguson has apparently reminded Prince William something special related to his late mother Princess Diana amid the Prince of Wales plans for his uncle, the Duke of York.

Princess Eugenie and Beatrice mother made her first Wimbledon Royal Box appearance in decades when the last time, she was beside her best friend Princess Diana.

According to a report by the People, the Duchess of York made her royal return alongside her elder daughter Princess Beatrice as they attended the first day of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London.

Sarah and Beatrice took a prime seat in the Royal Box.

As per the report, it was a meaningful day out for the mother-daughter duo, as Sarah is believed to have not sat in Wimbledon’s Royal Box for 37 years — her last time being in 1988 alongside Princess Diana.

While the Duchess was last photographed at the tournament in 2000, she reportedly has not attended since, the report claims.

Sarah Ferguson has apparently reminded William regarding her appearance with Diana amid claims the future king has made final decision regarding his uncle and absolutely there will be no royal role for Prince Andrew under his nephew’s reign.

Royal expert Helena Chard told Fox News Digital, "Prince Andrew will not have a formal role in Prince William’s future modernized, streamlined, monarchy."

Sarah previously told PEOPLE that she and Diana, were “best friends from when I was 14 and she was 15.”
