Prince William and Kate Middleton will begin granting their first royal warrants from next year, with initial applications due by the end of July, according to the British media.

According to the local media, King Charles has given the Prince and Princess of Wales the powers to issue royal warrants.

A report said  King Charles decides which members of the royal family are permitted to hand out royal warrants, signifying their own personal use of a specific brand.

"Now, for the first time in over 70 years, the title Princess of Wales will carry one of the most commercially powerful privileges in the royal toolkit: the ability to bestow," said the report.

Interestingly, just hours  before the reports about the royal couple issuing their first warrants emerged, eagle-eyed fans noticed that a shoe brand was trying to draw William and Kate's attention with a comment on the Prince's latest royal visit.

During this visit the Prince of Wales on Monday surprised the Lionesses, England's national women's football team,  with a visit to St. George’s Park ahead of the Women’s Euros.

When the royal's social media team posted  pictures from his visit on the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales, a popular shoe brand's name was prominent among those who had commented on William's pictures.

"Wow," commented the Bohemian Shoes with multiple emojis in the comments  section of William's Instagram post.

Moreover, a Royal Warrant of Appointment is a document that permits a company to use the Royal Arms in connection with its business in an appointed trading capacity. It is granted for up to five years at a time as a mark of recognition for the ongoing supply of goods or services traded with and used by the Royal Household.
