Prince Andrew’s return to royal life seems unlikely as future king Prince William has slammed doors on his “disgraced” uncle, claimed expert.
According to a new report, there is no chance for the Prince of York to resume his duties once the Prince of Wales ascends the throne.
Despite being King Charle’s brother, Andrew has long been embroiled in controversy, ranging from sexual assault allegations linked to Jeffrey Epstein to more recent scrutiny over his former ties with Chinese businessman and alleged spy Yang Tengbo.
Speaking with Fox News, royal expert Helena Chard claimed that William is “committed and determined” regarding his decisions for future of monarchy.
She said, “Prince William is a shrewd operator and stands firm in his decisions.
“He is committed and determined to do his best for the future of the monarchy. And his mind is made up,” she added.
Chard continued, “His scandalous uncle (Prince Andrew) is viewed as a black cloud. Future public royal duties are off the cards.
“If allowed, Andrew will likely bring further reputational damage to the monarchy at a time when the royal ship needs a careful steer.
“Prince Andrew will not have a formal role in Prince William’s future modernized, streamlined, monarchy.”
