Sophia Bush is opening up about a traumatic time in her life when she suffered "every kind" of abuse.

Bush said she’d been abused by a man "old enough to be my father" while working on a show that was on her career “bucket list.”

The Grey’s Anatomy star appeared on Monica Lewinsky’s podcast and said, "I had a workplace ongoing trauma revolving around an unending situation with someone old enough to be my father."

She continued, "I did the thing I learned to do and said, 'I will not have my integrity diminished by someone else's behavior. I will be unflappable. I will come to work and do my job.' And I couldn't."

While Bush didn’t name the show or the man, she shared that it was after her breakout role in One Tree Hill from 2003 to 2012.

The actress starred in Chicago P.D. from 2014 to 2017 and made an abrupt exit from the show due to an alleged toxic work environment.

Bush went on to reveal that she suffered extreme anxiety from the events and would wake up "covered in hives," and had "really crazy weight fluctuation."

The actress previously shared that nobody helped her on the set of the show.

"I feel like I was standing butt naked, bruised and bleeding in the middle of Times Square, screaming at the top of my lungs and not a single person stopped to ask if they could help me," Sophia Bush explained.
