Kate Middleton on Tuesday attended a state dinner for the first time since November 2023.

It was one of those rare events where the Princess of Wales wore a sparkling tiara.

During the state dinner at Windsor Castle, French President Emannuel Macron winked at the Princess of Wales as they raised glasses.

Singers like Mick Jagger and Elton John were prominent among those  who joined Macron at the event.

Kate Middleton  was accompanied by her husband Prince William who looked  dapper in a tuxedo.

Princess Catherin and the French president were seen bonding after clinking glasses during the festivities.

Earlier, Kate and her husband greeted President Emmanuel and his wife Brigitte as they landed in the UK before the guests met King Charles and Queen Camilla.

A viral video showed Brigitte rebuffing her husband as the couple arrived in Britain for a three-day state visit.

As they disembarked from the plane, Brigitte seemingly ignored Macron's outstretched hand, prompting him to awkwardly drop it.

Macron then greeted Princess Catherine with a kiss on the hand, with Prince William looking on.
