ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 12 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered three cars, wine bottles, narcotics, weapons and stolen valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said here on Wednesday.
According to details, Shalimar police arrested a thief Zahoor Abbas and recovered stolen property from him. Anti-car lifting cell of Islamabad police arrested Imran and Ashraf for having two 30 bore pistols and ammunition.
Sabzi Mandi police arrested Abbas, Malik Sadam and female Sadaf for having 30 bore pistol, 12 bore gun and 1.2 kilogram hashish respectively.
Kohsar police arrested Ejaz Masih and Rashid Butt for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Ramana police station arrested Imran and Javed in possession of one 30 bore pistol each.
Shahzad Town police recovered tampered car bearing (LXJ-5334) from an accused Talat Mehmood.
CIA police arrested a car thief Rabnawaz and recovered a Corolla Car from him.
Investigation Wing of Aabpara police station recovered a tampered car (VX-432) from Muhammad Din. Kohsar police arrested bootleggers Gohar Zaman and recovered wine from him.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway. (APP)
