The three prisoners, Ammar, Arsalan and Zubair were accused of kidnapping for ransom and other crimes.
According to police, two of the prisoners were part of the gang war in the city.
Government lawyer, Abdul Mahroof said the three prisoners fled after they broke the bars placed on the bathroom window. Mahroof added that action would be taken against individuals who were deployed on security duty.
