Protest demo against loadshedding

KOT GHULAM MUHAMMAD: Electricity consumers here Monday staged a protest demo against 18-hours- a-day loadshedding and blocked road.

The protesters gathered at the National Press Club and chanted slogans against Hesco officials. They said 18 to 20 hours a day load shedding in the holy month of Ramadan is sheer injustice with fast-observing people. They said the Hesco instead of taking action against electricity thieves is punishing honest bill-paying consumers.

They demanded of the Hesco authorities to end prolonged load shedding in the area and severe connections of electricity thieves without discrimination.
