Two killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Two persons were killed and two others injured in separate incidents of violence here on Friday.

According to rescue sources, unidentified armed men injured 29-year-old Mohammad Shahid, son of Habibur Rehman, after a heated debate in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area. He later succumbed to injuries on his way to hospital.

In another incident, a tortured body of a 5-year-old boy was found from a drain in Qayumabad area of the city. The body bore the marks of torture and a gunshot wound. It was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy.

Separately, two people were shot injured near Lal Kothi in Nursery area. The injured were shifted to JPMC for treatment.
