Boycotting election counterproductive: Wajihuddin
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Justice (retd) Wajihuddin Ahmed said Friday that boycotting the presidential election was counterproductive.

Speaking to media after his nomination papers were accepted by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the PTI candidate said he was not in favour of the boycott. “Boycotting the election is not the solution to the problem.”

Justice (retd) Wajihuddin’s comments came as the PPP announced its decision to boycott the presidential election scheduled to be held on July 30.

Speaking to Geo News, Justice (retd) Wajihuddin said we should look towards the future and it was the right of a political party and candidate to boycott.
