ISLAMABD: A mild intensity earthquake jolted Islamabad and parts of Punjab Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir, Geo News reported Saturday.
The quake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck when people were preparing for Sehri.
Panic gripped the residents of the federal capital, Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Jehlm, Gujranwala, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Azad Kashmir and other cities.
Epicenter of the quake was lying some 119 kilometer southeast of Sringar in Kashmir at the depth of 10 kilometer, the Met Department said.
