The benchmark 100-Index rose 0.75 percent or 175.21 points to
close at 23,613.20 mark.
Pakistan Petroleum Ltd and Engro Corporation Ltd remained investors’ sweethearts today, whereas cement stocks witnessed some profit-taking.
Muslim Commercial Bank Ltd gained 1.87 percent to finish at Rs286.50, while Pakistan Petroleum Ltd 1.39 percent to close higher at Rs251.15.
