Pakistan showing restraint over LoC violation
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday said that it was showing restraint over relentless violations on Line of Control by Indian troops and has lodged protest with New Delhi.

During a press briefing Foreign Office spokesman, Aizaz Chaudhry said that people of Pakistan and its leadership knew how to defend their country. He said that Islamabad’s desire for peace was for the betterment of the entire region but Indian violations of ceasefire along the LoC were hindering the peace process.

The spokesman said that Pakistan was concerned over the Indian violations.

Chaudhry added that the date of Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s proposed visit to Islamabad had not been finalized. However, he said that Karzai would visit Pakistan in the last week of this month.
