Five cops among seven injured in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: At least seven persons including five policemen were injured in a bomb blast inside Hashtnagri Police Station on Friday evening, Geo News reported.

According to police , a blast occurred when explosive fitted in the motorbike parked inside the premises of the Hashtnagri Police Stadium went off with big bang.

Soon after the blast a fire also erupted but the officials of the City Fire Brigade extinguished the blaze.

The officials of the security forces also rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

The injured were rushed to Lady Reading Hospital.The BDS team is investigating the incident.Awami National Party leader Ghulam Ahmed Bilour also visited the site of the blast.
