Lahore: Security of trains beefed up
LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways Police (PR) have tightened security of trains, especially those run under the public-private partnership, and commandos have been deployed.

PR Inspector General Police Syed Ibne Hussain issued directions to all officers that strict security arrangements should be ensured in all express and private passenger trains and trains will only be allowed to leave platform after complete inspection.

All belongings of passengers will be checked through security instruments and metal detectors and the bomb disposal squad will also be present in trains.

Passengers have been directed to inform at PR Police helpline 1333 in case of any suspect or luggage. (APP)
