Leonardo DiCaprio reveals secret formula for long lasting film career

Leonardo DiCaprio opened up about the mindset that has helped him sustain relevance and success more than three decades in the film industry.

The Oscar-winning actor explained that his approach to fame has always been about balance and restraint.

DiCaprio shared in a cover interview with Time’s 2025 Entertainer of the Year, “It’s been a balance I’ve been managing my whole adult life and still I’m not an expert.”

The Titanic star admitted he prefers to step back from the spotlight unless he has something meaningful to share.

“I think my simple philosophy is only get out there and do something when you have something to say, or you have something to show for it. Otherwise, just disappear as much as you possibly can,” DiCaprio revealed in the candid chat.

The 51-year-old emphasized that following his meteoric rise in the late 1990s with his role as Jack Dawson, the Wolf of Wall Street star took deliberate measures to sustain his career without oversaturating audience.

“…I love what I do, and I feel like the best way to have a long career is to get out of people’s face[s],” he added.

He has also kept his love life with Vittoria Ceretti, whom he began dating in 2023, under the wraps.
