During a news conference, Wasan told reporters that strict security arrangements had been made for prisons. He added that if mobile phones were recovered from inmates, the superintendent of that prison would be imprisoned.
The provincial minister further said that land seized from jails would be recovered and apartments would be built for prison employees.
