The sensational K-pop group, BTS has announced its first tour in nearly four years, set to kick off in their home country.
Comprising 79 dates, the boyband’s upcoming tour will travel to multiple regions, including London, Tokyo, Munich, Sydney, and Los Angeles.
While primary locations for the tour are set to be Goyang, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan, where the group are set to perform “multiple concerts”, per CNN.
Going into action mode on April 9, 2026, the Grammy-winning troupe will conclude their forthcoming musical stretch with a final show in Manila, Philippines, March 2027.
The latest announcement comes on the heels of a previous one about the scheduled release of the band’s new album — their fifth since 2022’s Proof.
While the album will debut on March 20, a title or artwork for the project has not yet been unveiled.
Notably, in the time since their hiatus, various BTS members have completed their mandatory military service as citizens of South Korea.
Whereas others, like bandmates Jimin and Jung Kook, produced solo endeavours during their group’s collective interval.
BTS is set to return with a new tour this year following the abandonment of their reported 2020 stint due to Covid-19 restrictions, while the group managed to squeeze in a handful of live performances via the Permission to Dance on Stage Tour before launching into their brief gap.
